Awa Bomba9
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: K Stott| T: D H Brown
150/1
Cheap purchase who has finished nearer last than first in two runs this month, and another quick outing suggests he's being prepared with handicaps in mind.

Horse silk
100/1
Lope de Vega half-brother to useful 1m-1¾m winner Passepartout and 1½m winner Gala. Well beaten in two 7f starts on AW and turf, and looks the type whose improvement will come granted time and distance.

Horse silk
12/1
Dark Angel half-brother to G1 Grosser Preis Von Baden winner Temida and useful 2-y-o 1m½f winner Contrapposto. Sales price dropped to 75,000 gns last year, but still a likely sort on paper.

(10)
Horse silk
100/1
Half-brother to useful performers Melesina and White Mocha, but badly in need of the experience when fifth of 6 on debut at Pontefract recently, and supporters may require patience.

Horse silk
33/1
Artie Schiller half-brother to US Grade 3 1m1f winner Colonelsdarktemper and Russian Oaks winner S Arancha. Cost $50,000 as a yearling, and market should indicate what's expected on debut.

Horse silk
200/1
Passing Glance colt out of a fair 1m1f-1m4f winner. Doesn't set the pulse racing on pedigree, and surprise if he got involved on racecourse bow.

Horse silk
Nabbeyl
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: S A Gray| T: R Varian
14/1
Dam won Jebel Hatta and Dubai Duty Free (both Group 1s) at Meydan. This daughter of New Approach is a stablemate of Emirates Knight, and looks second string on riding arrangements, although market should clarify that.

Horse silk
Nuboughh32
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: Callum Shepherd| T: C Hills
7/2
Improved from debut effort to beat a next-time-out winner at Leicester last time, although was subsequently demoted. The proverbial without a penalty here, and sure to go well.

Horse silk
Oche
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: Hayley Turner| T: M L W Bell
33/1
First foal of a maiden half-sister to Goodwood Cup winner Darasim. Worth a check in the market for signs of confidence, although yard gone a little quiet of late.

Horse silk
Reeves17
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: P J McDonald| T: R M H Cowell| OR:  76
11/2
Improved again when a good second in a 6f maiden at Pontefract on penultimate start, and filled same spot in a 7f nursery at Catterick last time. More required back in maiden company, but not dismissed.

Horse silk
4/6
360,000 gns half-brother to smart performers Cameron Highland and Field of Miracles, and shaped well amidst greenness when fourth of 13 to King Ottokar in a 7f novice event at Newbury last month. Open to plenty of improvement.
12
(8)
Horse silk
100/1
Mixed record at the sales, and while he showed ability on first try at Redcar earlier in the month, that form gives him plenty to find.
13
(1)
Horse silk
200/1
Cheap purchase who didn't show a great deal on debut at Nottingham earlier this month, and hard to see her improving enough to take a hand in what looks a warm enough contest.

Forecasts

Solid Stone (4/6), Nubough (7/2), Reeves (11/2), Emirates Knight (12/1), Nabbeyl (14/1), Leo Davinci (33/1), Oche (33/1), Chancer (100/1), The Rutland Rebel (100/1), Jimmy Krankyar (100/1), Awa Bomba (150/1), Bumblekite (200/1), My Boy Monty (200/1)

14:25 Doncaster - 26 October 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Solid Stone looks the type to improve markedly having caught the eye on debut, but NUBOUGH is a winner without a penalty having been rather harshly demoted at Leicester, and he can make amends for that misfortune here. Reeves is more exposed, but is generally shaping well, and isn't ruled out if everything clicks.
  1. Nubough
  2. Solid Stone
