Water Diviner9
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-9| J: Tom Marquand| T: R Hannon| OR:  78| BF
7/2
Front-runner and highly consistent performer who has deserved to add to sole Wolverhampton success. Ran with credit over a furlong shorter here on ground quicker than ideal and should be involved again.
2

Horse silk
12/1
Alhebayeb colt who failed to progress from debut when well beaten at Newmarket. Extra distance will help but looks one for handicaps.

Horse silk
25/1
Son of Harbour Watch bought for 10,000 gns last October who would be a leading contender based on his fast finishing close second over 7f here on debut. Below that albeit in a strong York race and could easily bounce back.

Mister Fawkes15
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: M Dwyer| T: A M Balding
20/1
By Phoenix Reach out of a modest maiden who wasn't fancied and never got involved on debut. Remains best watched.

9/4
Gelded son of Pour Moi whose price rose from €6,000 as a foal to €16.000 as a yearling. Really promising debut when second and clear of the remainder. Should only improve and his conqueror has franked the form since.

13/2
€10,000 yearling; third foal; half-sister to a couple of winners including one-time stablemate Golden Jeffrey (2m). Likely to need further in time but still made a promising debut over this trip on the AW. Big improvement not out of the question.

Canford Dancer114
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: S W Kelly| T: R Hughes
7/1
Daughter of Canford Cliffs who cost 25,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to two winners. Showed nice improvement first to second start and is bred to better over this trip.

Cern16
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: G Mosse| T: D R C Elsworth
12/1
Henrythenavigator filly who was too green to do herself justice on debut but things seemed to click late on and she should have benefited significantly for the experience. Much more required but one to note.

Gaslightt14
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: George Wood| T: J R Fanshawe| OR:  74
6/1
Improved out of sight from her debut when a close fourth at Lingfield on her second start and ran to the same level when narrowly denied over the same C&D. Shapes as though this trip will bring more progress and a leading contender.

Horse silk
50/1
Daughter of Morpheus who cost 14,000gns as a foal and was sent off at long odds and always behind on debut over 6f. Hard to recommend.

(9)
Horse silk
50/1
Daughter of Dick Turpin who will likely benefit with experience and over a slightly longer trip. Stable won this last year but have only had one juvenile winner this campaign.

Water Diviner is a likeable colt who arguably sets the standard and should be thereabouts again, however under the penalty he is vulnerable to some smart improving types. Limelighter needs to put his last run behind him but it was a tough race and he's proven at this track. There was a lot to like about the debut of WOLF PRINCE who pulled nicely clear of the third and with the form working out well gets the verdict. Arms Of The Angel made good late progress first time out and for a stable whose runners can improve massively with each run, rates the main danger. Gaslight and Canford Dancer both have a lot more to offer at this distance while Cern should be kept a close eye on for the future.
  1. Wolf Prince
