Good effort to finish a running-on third to a stable companion in a quite valuable York handicap on Friday. Brought out quickly, but faces a stiff task on these terms.
Several solid efforts this season, including last time when fourth in a Class 1 contest at Ascot. Every chance at these weights for last year's winning stable.
Back in the winner's circle when landing a 6f Newmarket handicap last month. Drop in trip not ideal, but stable is strong in the sprint division and he is not ruled out.
Stable companion of Captain Colby and has a string of solid efforts to his name this season. Fair effort at Naas last time and is likely to be on the premises.
Has been keeping top company without much joy since joining this yard from Robert Cowell's stable. Has had wind surgery, however, and would be right in the mix if able to rediscover anything like his best form.
Third runner for this yard and the most in-form of the three. Completed a hat-trick of wins in the summer and ran a fine race off a career-high mark when second at Haydock last time. Favoured by the weights and looks the one to beat.
Haydock handicap winner in August, but has finished out of the money in three subsequent contests. Has a mountain to climb in this much hotter company.
Forecasts
Tarboosh (1/1), Mythmaker (11/4), Line Of Reason (7/1), Captain Colby (10/1), Ornate (12/1), Bossipop (22/1), Meerpat (80/1)
Mythmaker is a solid performer in these races and has every chance, but TARBOOSH, one of three runners for his stable, looks the one to be on at these weights. He is in top form and should prove very hard to beat. Ornate would be a live contender if his recent wind operation has had the desired effect,
