AW debut; 4lb higher than when seeing off 15 other rivals at Thirsk (1m, good to firm) in May; returns to action from a 66-day absence.
AW debut; effective between 7f-1m+ on turf, with his Hamilton wins coming on vastly different types of ground; 7lb above his last winning mark, but you couldn't rule out further improvement.
Had an unsettling experience when set to score at Nottingham in November 2017, but was back to winning ways in a Class 5 handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) in December; off since and up 8lb, so a watching brief is advised on 3yo debut.
2-7 on the AW (both wins over 7f); beaten approximately 5½L when finishing fifth of 12 to Mizaah on return from a break at Chelmsford (7f) last month; up in trip.
Solid AW strike-rate (3-9), in comparison to his record on turf (0-6); came up short in stronger races (Class 2 & 3) over 1m at Kempton of late, but not discounted off a fair mark based on his August Class 4 form (1m); Newcastle debut.
C&D winner (March 2017); dropping back to a more appealing mark having struggled a fraction over further lately; possible he's simply not the force of old, but interesting to see if the market provides any positive clues.
0-2 on the AW; 1m regular on turf; also declared to run at Windsor on Monday (4.00pm).
33/1, slowly into stride and soon beaten when returning from a 15 month break at Ayr (7f, soft) recently; fairly well handicapped on his peak 7f form, but the jury is out fitness (and trip) wise; other days.
Has plummeted in the weights since arriving from Ireland (ex-Ger Lyons), and showed speed in the centre before weakening when beaten 4L by Testa Rossa (C&D) last month; could fare better with that improved effort under his belt.
Reliable sort who has regularly found the frame since his Carlisle (6f) juvenile win in July 2017; runner-up on sole previous AW start (6f).
Took full advantage of a falling mark when recording a sixth C&D win last month (Valentino Dancer third, Elusive Heights fourth); 4lb rise gives those re-opposing rivals a chance of a reversal; but he's still well treated based on past form.
Stayed on strongly to beat Carnageo by over 2L in a 1m1f (soft) Hamilton seller last month, and ran okay in a similar race at Redcar on Saturday; 0-2 on the AW, and out of the handicap tonight.

TESTA ROSSA is a standing dish over 1m at Newcastle and he took full advantage of the rather surprising leniency shown by the BHA handicapper (had dropped him 8lb since his last AW start) when winning for the sixth time here last month. He finished in front of both the re-opposing Valentino Dancer (third) and Elusive Heights (fourth), and whilst those rivals have a chance of reversing placings on better terms, the Jim Goldie-trained 8yo remains very well treated on his past Newcastle form. If looking for a better priced each-way alternative, Mudallel could potentially be the play after struggling in far stronger Class 2 & 3 Kempton 1m contests.
