Left behind a poor second race on AW when winning a 5½f maiden at Navan latest at 16/1. Kept on strongly there so extra distance here should suit as she switches to handicaps and merits respect.

Built on promising handicap debut at Naas when beaten a short head at the same venue latest over 5f. Raised 5lb for that positive effort so task a little tougher now especially with added distance not certain to suit.

Midfield in two nurseries at the Curragh (6f) and Naas (5½f) and doing her best work late in both of them. Cheekpieces added which is a likely positive and extended 6f should also suit so not ruled out.

Winner of a 5½f Naas nursery on her handicap debut. Raised 7lb for that and struggled next over 6f at Fairyhouse. Same mark again here so more needed but trip not an issue based on last run.

Thereabouts in last four races and best effort latest when narrowly beaten in a 6f claimer at Naas. Now 4lb higher than last handicap run when 3L fourth again at Naas so more needed but going the right way.

Didn't stay 1m in third and final maiden but switched to handicapping latest he kept on really well for third over 5f. This trip may be close to ideal at present and considered a leading contender therefore off the same mark.

Never competitive in a trio of Curragh maidens although all of them were won by useful fillies. Switched to handicaps now and has to be considered quite unexposed overall but would have liked to see more.

Not really built on a promising debut at Galway although last two maidens both pretty warm at the Curragh and Naas. Chances improve for switch to handicapping but suspect she may benefit for a longer trip.

One paced fifth on handicap debut latest over 5½f at Naas represented his best run in five races so far. Handicap unchanged so more needed but fitted with a first time visor now so that is possible.

Beaten out of sight in his last two maidens although had the misfortune of bumping into subsequent Beresford Stakes winner Japan latest. Plenty to prove on handicap debut.

Showed little in three maidens and behind several of these latest on handicap debut at Naas. 5lb out of the handicap and likely to struggle.

Forecasts

Jarrocho (7/2), So Familiar (9/2), Chernish (9/2), Lady Marengo (5/1), Dancing Mountain (7/1), Rangefield Express (12/1), Mi Esperanza (12/1), Kodi Dream (20/1), Shandredee (33/1), Meryems Way (40/1), Puddymore (40/1)

14:35 Cork - 3 October 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

JARROCHO was noted finishing strongly over 5f at Naas last time out after not lasting 1m previously. This trip could be right up his street and off the same mark he is worth chancing. Top-weight Lady Marengo was a very taking winner last time out and she too could appreciate this step up in trip. Dancing Mountain disappointed latest but had won quite nicely before so isn't written off here.
  1. Jarrocho
  2. Lady Marengo
  3. Dancing Mountain
