Consistent since switching to hurdles but more required now turning his hand to handicapping from maidens. Stiff test giving weight away.

Held her form remarkably well in her completed starts and may have a bit more to offer. Did win three low-key hurdles last season but is 12lb above her last winning mark; so needs to dig deeper than she has before.

Pengo's Boyh305
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-10| J: Nick Scholfield| T: R G Hawker| OR:  113| C
33/1
Capable on the pick of his best form but has been sidelined since last November and probably best watched on this, his debut for a new yard.
4

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-9| J: David Noonan| T: D Pipe| OR:  112

Losing run stretches back to July 2016 but is on a handy mark as a result. Highly respected yard traditionally does well at this course at this time of year; one to note in the betting.

Not the easiest to predict but does have ability and can figure at this level when he's on his A-game. Still lightly raced, so open to improvement at the trip. Place claims.

In the form of his life just now and making good strides as he gains experience. Up 7lb for his latest win but that was achieved in a stronger looking race and the burden may not be insurmountable. Leading contender again.

Glanvilles Guest66
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-4| J: Jack Sherwood(3)| T: Nick Mitchell| OR:  107| CD

Back from a break but has a good record when fresh and bonus that he knows how to win over C&D; wouldn't want much rain, so the elements may be on his side. Worth a betting check at least.

Charlie Papa Limat97
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-4| J: G Sheehan| T: B Barr| OR:  107

Fared well over fences on his return to action in April but pulled up twice shortly after and not seen out since. Needs to prove he retains his enthusiasm and best watched on his first starts since the height of summer.

Horse silk
Atlantic Greyb21
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: Bryony Frost(3)| T: J D Frost| OR:  105| C
11/1
Bought for £4,000 after winning a seller on his sole start after leaving the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard. Has scope to improve back in handicaps but has endured problems with his wind and may be best watched on his debut for another new yard.

Fields of Gloryt140
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-2| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan| OR:  105
40/1
Lightly raced since winning a brace of chases early last year but form had dipped when he was last seen out and may just need a confidence-boosting clean round before he can be confidently forwarded as a contender again.

Bradford Bridge19
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: R Johnson| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR:  104

Has gone well here previously and showed a bit of promise before tiring on his recent return to action. The drop in trip may help but possible he'll be better suited by more give in the ground.

Arty Campbellp15
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-0| J: Robert Williams(3)| T: B J Llewellyn| OR:  103

Capable at this sort of level under both codes of racing but just a solitary win to his name when tried over hurdles and not tried in this type of event since the summer. Others appear to hold stronger claims.

A winner here over 2m1f last July but has been on a downward spiral since. Potentially well handicapped but needs to pull something out of the fire if he's going to stop the rot.

Silver Sea21
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-6| J: J McGrath| T: J W Mullins| OR:  95

Placed on both previous starts at this course but is up significantly in trip and has questions to answer regarding the suitability of the move. Another to treat with caution.

The hat-trick seeking MARBLE MOON arrives here in irresistible form and is forwarded in the hope that he can overcome a 7lb higher mark handed out after his latest success. This will be only the seventh start of the gelding's career over hurdles and could provide another platform for further progress. The Brothers also has plenty of scope and can play a strong supporting role, while Fleeting Visit and Glanvilles Guest are others to bear in mind if the market reacts positively to their presence in the lineup. Kalifourchon could also be good value for a place in the frame.
