Won over 5f on his penultimate start at Doncaster but was well held over the intermediate trip of the Portland handicap last time out at the same course. All previous wins, bar his maiden win at Sailbury, were achieved on flatter surfaces, though.
Started this season by winning the Listed Camidge Trophy at Doncaster; not seen much action since but ran an absolute blinder in the Ayr Gold Cup at the weekend. This looks a tad easier and he'll be hard to stop if in the same frame of mind.
Started his campaign with three straight wins but his form has dipped significantly since. Closely matched with Orvar on the Portland form but does have a bit more to find on balance.
Won from a mark of 90 on the AW at Chelmsford latest but has questions to answer back over the minimum distance and may also need a firmer surface to be seen at his best.
Won a modest handicap over C&D and has subsequently followed it up with a win at Thirsk last time out. Up in class and faces a stiffer caliber of opponent here. Has a bit to find.
Won a handicap at Bath in May and best effort since came when placed in a Listed race at Sandown the following month. Form has been poor since and the filly looks a risky option at this level.
There was a lot to like about the effort put in by PERFECT PASTURE in the Ayr Gold Cup at the weekend and the eight-year-old looks to be a serious contender to make this his own if the race doesn't come around too soon. Orvar and Savalas look the pick of the opposition.
