Gradual improver got off the mark with an improved effort when stepped up to this trip at Salisbury but was a little disappointing next in a considerably stronger contest at Goodwood. More to come at this stage and merits respect.

Back to the distance where he won his last race by 12L he gets the nod. Three-year-olds Alternative Fact and Infrastructure both remain open to improvement over this trip and the former hinted at being high class earlier in his career.
