Seems to be steadily finding his form and ran as well as he has for a while when dropped to this grade last time out, finishing third. Handles the ground fine but yet to prove this trip is really what he wants. On that, others preferred.

Stays the trip fine but mark is falling quickly after some very moderate runs and he was beaten out of sight at Ffos Las last time out, and the 50-1 price tag suggested little was expected. More likely winners in the field.

No problem with the likely ground and was a ready winner at Wolverhampton two starts ago. Handicapper reacted with a 5lb hike in the weights and he wasn't as good next time out. Trip an unknown factor as well and others more persuasive.

Found her form around this time last year and she looked to be on the way back again when a staying-on fourth at Wolverhampton on her latest start. On a winning mark and wouldn't need much more than that to be competitive here.

Sent off big prices all three starts so far and hasn't shown much, has had a break since last run and goes handicapping off a basement mark, so on that alone is worth a market check, but on balance has a lot to find. Trip an unknown too.

Well beaten all four starts so far but hinted that a staying trip might bring out a bit more in him on his latest start, so there's the possibility he could improve for this extra couple of furlongs. Open to improvement and not discounted.

Hadn't shown a lot first four starts but did much better when upped in trip (and given cheekpieces) at Brighton last time, getting on top late and looking like this extra 2f would be within her compass. Could go on again from that.

Old boy that tries his best and pops up from time to time, stuck to the task to finish fourth over Chepstow's marathon 18f last time but the worry is that he'll find speedier sorts here today.

Just touched off by Bright Saffron at Brighton and 3lb turnaround in the weights gives him a chance of reversing the form. Has won over hurdles since then too, so in good heart, and if staying this trip, has chances.

Had shown little prior to a better effort at Yarmouth last time out, staying on late to finish within shouting distance of the winner. Needs more again, but upped in trip, which may help, and at least that was a step in the right direction.

Interesting insomuch as he's a winning hurdler that's on a very low mark here and he looked like a run would do him good at Fontwell recently, where he weakened late. Trip should be fine and more interesting than a few.

Running respectably without threatening to win one and mark is already falling as a result. New trip tried today but on breeding he's no certainty to get it. Others make more appeal.

Her second at Windsor two starts ago wasn't a dreadful effort but she couldn't follow that up at Brighton in the week and now needs to progress again for this extra distance. Not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

16:50 Lingfield - 15 September 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An interesting little race with plenty having a chance. Keep To The Beat should improve a little from a recent run over hurdles at Fontwell and has little weight to carry. He, along with recent hurdles winner Royal Hall, should both make their presence felt. SEVENTII came good last September and might be about to do the same this time around after a solid enough effort at Wolverhampton last time. She gets the vote. King Of Burgundy, Bright Saffron and Najavo Squaw all have the potential to do better.
