Continued on the upgrade with another easy win at Salisbury last time, travelling best and quickening away when asked. 6lb rise in the weights but trip/surface both ideal and may not have finished winning yet.
Winner at Doncaster in June (at this trip) but has found life a lot tougher since then, beaten favourite next time out and last at Nottingham latest run, never getting in the contest. Bit to prove now, although this surface won't be an issue.
Winner of just 5 of his 49 starts, all on the all-weather, but does come into this in good form after a win at Chelmsford and then a good effort over C&D last time out. Good pace up front would help his chance, as he likes to come late.
Was going nowhere fast until bouncing back to some form at Kempton last time out, finishing a close second at 33-1. Possible the cheekpieces have bucked his ideas up and given he's so well handicapped, has a big chance if he can build again on that.
Useful handicapper at his best but well into the veteran stage now. Still retains some enthusiasm if his win in a claimer here in May is anything to go by but well beaten back in handicap company last time. Others make more appeal.
Had bounced back to some of his better form, winning two of his last three (both at Windsor) before a lesser effort at Chelmsford last time (made favourite). Could be that winning run has come to an end, and may need more off this mark.
Only had the three starts so open to plenty of improvement, and he ran well over 7f on debut here August last year. Was absent for almost a year before being seen at Kempton last month, so may have needed the run, and could easily do better today.
Yet to win in nine starts and a few indications that he may be one that needs to be brought very late with a challenge to score. Form blows hot and cold, so whilst he acts on the track, needs to be on a going day or he could be struggling again.
Good debut behind the much-improved Honey Man at Chelmsford wasn't matched by his next two starts, but he did much better back there on his handicap debut, making most and weakening late. Should improve..
No secrets from the handicapper and whilst conditions are fine, he looks outclassed here. Plenty on his plate and likely to find some of these improving past him.

This may not be run at a strong pace, which will count against one or two of these, but FORTUNE AND GLORY continues to go from strength to strength and ought to be prominent from the outset. He can get first run from a good draw and hold on for another win. Cherbourg turned it around at Kempton last time but will need some luck in running here, and the likes of Mutanaasib and Staunch make just as much appeal as likely improvers.
