Group 1 winner in South Africa and ran a huge race in a Group 2 on yard debut at Goodwood. Entirely feasible he will come on for that run and looks well handicapped dropped back in class.
Progressive this season, following up a Newmarket win with a fine front running performance at Royal Ascot. Can race keenly, and that probably did for his chance when runner-up in a Goodwood Group 3 last time but we haven't seen the best of him yet.
Improved throughout 2017, winning four races, all with soft in the going description. Hasn't been able to continue the progression this time around but he's back on a workable mark and ran with credit at Ascot when third last time out.
Hasn't won since winning the Lincoln over C&D at the start of the 2017 campaign. Below his last winning mark but failed to back up a promising effort at Redcar last month when well beaten at York.
Finished a good third here on Thursday and drop back to this trip looks in his favour. Probably others in here who lurk on better handicap marks but capable of running well again.
WHISKY BARON made a highly encouraging start for his new trainer William Haggas and it's a surprise he's been left on the same mark for that effort. Ostilio is one we haven't seen the best of yet and rates as the main danger while Aquarium is capable of running well again after a respectable effort over further earlier in the week.
