Out of a half-sister to St Leger winner Milan who won her only start. Looked one for the longer term when 11½ lengths seventh of 13 to Waldstern in minor event at Newmarket last month. Will improve, but looks one for next year.
Dam was a modest maiden, but she has produced three winners at around this trip. Quite a cheap purchase at 12.000 gns, and passed over unless strong in the market.
Zoffany colt who cost €40,000 as a yearling. Shaped well amidst inexperience when 3¼L second of 10 to Cap Francais in C&D novice last week, running green under pressure but keeping on: will improve.
Anodin half-brother to smart 7f-1¼m winner Al Waab (runner-up in Group 3 Winter Hill Stakes); quite a cheap purchase, and looked very green when down the field at Ascot in July. Gelded since.
Palace Episode colt who cost €20,000 as a yearling. Well beaten over 5f at Kempton at the start of May, and has been given time to develop since. Will do better, but has lots to find.
Dalakhani half-brother to Taws and Duke Of Bronte who have done well for these connections. Needed experience on debut at Ffos Las in August, and only likely to come into his own next year.
Bred form stamina (dam won at up to 1m7f), and although he went off at quite a short price on debut at Kempton, he looked to need the outing all round, and will do better in time.
Dawn Approach half-brother to 1m-1¾m winner Endless Time and useful 1m winner The Sky Is Blazing (both by Sea The Stars) out of a staying maiden. Holds a Royal Lodge entry, and yard in fine form, so merits respect on racecourse bow.
Homebred full-brother to useful 2-y-o 1m winner Magic Dancer and half-brother to 1m winner The King's Steed. Gelded ahead of debut at Goodwood last month, and showed little other than inexperience. Much more needed.
Modest pedigree shouts stamina (dam won over 1m5f), and he looked a long-term project when soundly beaten on debut at Lingfield less than a fortnight ago.
Data Link half-brother to 7f-1m1f winner Spitinfia out of a maiden half-sister to smart 2-y-o 6f winner Projection. Cost £42,000 as a yearling, and yard has proven most adept with juveniles, so needs consideration.
Champs Elysees half-sister to useful 1m/1m1f winner Just Little and 6f/7f winner Bertie's Best out of a French 1m1f/1¼m winner. Yard 8-63 with juveniles on turf this year, and has a decent record with fillies on debut, so market check needed.
Champs Elysees half-sister to 7f-1¼m winner Column out of a well-related 2-y-o 1m winner. Yard's juveniles usually all the better for a run, but this homebred is worth a second look.

The likes of Red October and Surrey Warrior make appeal on paper, and merits a market check ahead of their respective debuts, but in terms of form shown, JERSEY WONDER looks just about the pick ahead of Dudley's Boy based on his promising start over C&D, where he looked like the experience would do him good.
