Smart performer for William Haggas, appeared to have lost way having moved to this yard but bounced back in spectacular fashion as winner of valuable 1m4f Leopardstown handicap when last seen on the Flat in October. Place claims.
Distance winner of a Tipperary contest on two years ago off a 15lb lower mark when with Willie McCreery. Vast improvement needed to figure here following a couple of below-par performances last month.
Cape Cross filly who is a half-sister to three winners over middle-distances. Off the mark at the second attempt in a 1m3f Killarney maiden last month and would not have to progress much on that performance to land a blow here.
Solid and consistent in a number of starts since June and got the change of luck the colt so richly deserved when landing a Killarney 1m6f handicap last month off a 2lb lower mark. Another bold show looks likely.
Hurdling recently well beaten on each occasion. Last win on the Flat came 12-months ago off a 7lb lower mark so can be expected to struggle here in current form.
Eye-catching third of seven beaten a little over 5L on handicap debut at Sligo last month. Will need to step up here but worth a market check.

The hat-trick seeking ASTRONOMER is the stand out runner here following a couple of tidy wins over differing distances last month and can seal a third career win here at the expense of the Dermot Weld-trained Maysiyana and the rapidly improving National Wealth. The solid and consistent Lady Camelot from the Gavin Cromwell yard is deserving of closer inspection.
