Improved with each run and following two thirds won in good style on AW debut. Has been well fancied on last two runs so clearly been showing plenty at home and looks a leading contender.
Gelded son of Zoffany bought for €20,000 as a yearling last September. May have been suited by racing prominently on a slow pace on debut but still showed plenty of promise and can be involved with improvement.
Improved from debut with a third at Thirsk but the balance of that form would leave him with a bit to find and he'll probably be better suited by further in time.
Would be very hard to beat if reproducing the form of his narrow debut defeat but was most disappointing at York when a beaten favourite. Hard to know what went wrong there but he was never happy at any point of the race. Market will be informative.
Daughter of Kodiac cost 65,000 gns as a yearling and €21,000 as a juvenile. Stable a bit quiet at present and probably best watched on debut unless there is significant support.
Shaped reasonably in both starts so far while showing a similar level of form on each occasion. Needs to find improvement to be involved in this company.
Bated Breath filly whose dam was a maiden, half-sister to smart 6f winner Primo Valentino and useful juvenile 6f winner Dora Carrington. Not fancied and tailed off on debut and impossible to make a case for.
Forecasts
Sky Defender (8/11), Lonely Boy (5/2), Castle Quarter (8/1), Dancin Boy (14/1), Sdh Dream Team (16/1), Kermouster (20/1), Euro No More (28/1), Geyser (100/1), Milabella (100/1)
Should Sky Defender bounce back from a poor second start he would be very hard to beat but that performance does leave question marks. In contrast LONELY BOY has got better on each run and the turn of foot he showed in his breakthrough success should stand him in good stead to win more races. Castle Quarter shaped well on debut and any improvement would see him involved.
