Six starts over fences haven't amounted to much but is falling down the handicap as a result and it would be no surprise were he to bounce back at some stage. Cheekpieces added.
Has had a largely progressive profile of late and won again at Market Rasen two starts back. Never travelling at any stage after a mistake at the first fence over C&D last time. Capable of being involved if bouncing back.
Broke the maiden tag at the 21st time of asking on debut for Dan Skelton having been well backed. Up 7lb but obvious claims of following-up if the progression is continued here.
Not been in the best of form over hurdles and the handicapper has been reluctant to relent. This trip is on the sharp side for chase debut but has potential to do better over fences.
Only one win in 25 starts under all codes and makes chase debut today. Needs to improve significantly for larger obstacles to be involved. Market check essential.
Forecasts
Peppay Le Pugh (4/7), Dinsdale (4/1), Old Salt (5/1), For Jim (14/1), Gris De Pron (20/1), Redwood Boy (25/1), Cool Valley (66/1)
Peppay Le Pugh was finally off the mark on debut for Dan Skelton last time and has sound claims of following up under a penalty. Slight preference is for DINSDALE who won very easily on his chasing debut last week and could be hard to peg back if in the same mood. Old Salt would be a player if bouncing back.
