Never built on the promise of his bumper fourth in three remote hurdle races where his jumping wasn't always fluent. Made errors on chase debut at Newton Abbot even before coming to grief four out. Question marks aplenty.
Three time hurdle winner ran a promising race despite 33/1 odds on chase debut at Market Rasen finishing third over 2m5½f and was only beaten 1½L. Will likely enjoy the extra 1f here and has to be considered.
Promising efforts early in his chase career, placing in four of the five but was beaten 24L at Southwell latest despite managing third. Handicap falling and has a squeak on his best form.
Followed sound efforts at Plumpton and Newton Abbot with another good effort here when third. Unexposed over this sort of trip and signs he might appreciate it so has possibilities here.
Unplaced hurdler made the frame on chase debut (third of four) at Taunton but lesser efforts since there and at Perth on debut for this stable. Too keen there so booking of champion jockey could make a difference.
Winning point-to-pointer (one from 10) showed little in four hurdle starts this summer with a remote third at Newton Abbot three starts back the best. Now goes over fences which should suit but handicap mark not hugely appealing.
In and out record thus far over fences and pulled up when last seen tackling them back in January. Ordinary efforts in two staying contests at Chepstow this summer do little to encourage the notion that he will fare better here.
Seemingly regressive chaser who followed two pulled-up efforts with a completely tailed off effort at Market Rasen latest. Tongue-tie suggests the possible issue but very hard to fancy at present.
Promise over fences soon petered out last winter and season culminated with a fall at the first at Wincanton. Pulled up in an April point-to-point so plenty of doubts upon return to racing under rules.
Maiden of nine races over hurdles. Couple of false dawns where bits of promise weren't followed up. Now switches to fences but was a faller in her only point-to-point and is 3lb out of the handicap today.
Changed stables more than he's run in last year. Followed two remote efforts here with a fall when beaten four out at Worcester. Well out of the handicap and easy to dismiss.
Unplaced in all nine races under rules and pulled up in four of her last five starts with a tailed off seventh here in between. 8lb out of the handicap and again a completion unlikely.

COURTLANDS PRINCE ran a nice race in his first start over fences keeping on well for third. He should be capable of even more now with this trip set to suit and gets the vote in an ordinary enough contest. Overtoujay has been placed in all bar one of his chase starts and should again be in the thick of things here. Torhousemuir has found his feet over fences and is an intriguing contender now stepped up makrkedly in trip.
