Form is mixed this year, but back to best with headgear removed when winning over this trip at Ayr last time, Had plenty go right for him there, and overall record casts doubt on his ability to build on that effort here.
Winner on stable debut (well backed) at Chester in May, and bounced back from a below-par run when fifth behind Danceteria at Newmarket last time, those who beat him all improving 3-y-o's. Vulnerable again.
Ran very well when fourth in a listed race at Goodwood in May, but that effort something of a standout, and the balance of her form this year leaves her with something to prove.
Has fallen below last winning mark, and caught the eye at Goodwood a month ago, enduring a tortured passage. Good second at Ayr subsequently, and looks a winner in waiting granted some luck.
Has won three handicaps around this trip already this year, and as good as ever when fourth of 15 to Pivoine at York last time. Folly to assume his progress has levelled out just yet.
Won by a wide margin at Ascot in the spring, and hit hard by the handicapper for that. Has run well on both starts since without obvious excuse, and seems to have nothing in hand of his mark at present,
Not progressed as expected since winning valuable 'Convivial' maiden at York last summer, although plenty of solid efforts in defeat at around 1m, including last time. Chances hinge on him improving for longer trip, which is not certain on pedigree.
Third in this last year off 2lb lower, and won off reduced mark at Windsor in June; has shown similar form in defeat since, just looking a little high in the handicap, and similar story expected here.
Consistent sort who has looked in the grip of the handicapper on turf since winning over 1m here last summer, and while he ran well when tried at this trip before, he didn't entirely convince with his stamina.
Needs things to drop his way, and losing run mounting up, but he is falling in the weights and retains plenty of ability, so no surprise to see him bounce back at a track he's shown he handles.
Represents connections of 2017 winner Thundering Blue, and has a similar profile. Much better than result when sixth of 13 to Argentello at Newmarket last time (stumbled start). Bred to relish this trip, and one to be interested in.
Thriving all of a sudden, and brought up a hat-trick at Newbury last time by ¾L from Swiss Storm, all out in the end, but doing well to beat enterprisingly-ridden runner-up. Has more to offer.

This race went to the progressive Thundering Blue last year, and his connections have one in similar mould this time with HISTORY WRITER. An eyecatcher after a tardy start at Newmarket last time, he had previously scored over 1m here, and can get back to winning ways with the longer trip in his favour. Red Force One is thriving of late, and deserves credit for his tenacity in scoring at Newbury last time. A repeat of that puts him firmly in the picture, while Communique is another three-year-old who hasn't stopped progressing.
