Made a positive impression here on debut last week when sixth in a 25 runner C&D maiden although he was some 11½ behind Ten Sovereigns. Started very slowly there so more to come but reversal very unlikely.

Made a huge step up on debut third in a Leopardstown maiden when fourth to Derby favourite Anthony Van Dyck here latest in Group Two Futurity over 7f. That form makes him competitive if as effective over 6f.

Dual 5f winner found Listed races beyond him twice before finishing down the field when upped to 6f in a Goodwood handicap latest. Hard to see him being good enough here.
Finished a 9½L seventh here in lone start, a 7f maiden. Huge step up in grade completely unwarranted on that evidence and big achievement if he finishes in the first five here.

No Nay Never colt bolted up in a 25 runner maiden here last week winning by 7L. Subsequently talked up as a Middle Park candidate and his trainer won this with US Navy Flag last year who then won that race. Very exciting prospect.

Navan maiden winner continues to progress and latest third in a 5f Listed contest here represented best effort to date. More needed here and very much stable second string.

Short-head 6f Leopardstown maiden winner on debut back in July where she battled really well. Two pulled clear there and runner-up not seen since but otherwise form not worked out so doubt she's up to this.

6f Naas Listed winner on her second start before only beaten just over 1L in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot despite racing away from the action. Form of that working out really well so the obvious danger if she's spot-on after a break.

Forecasts

Ten Sovereigns (1/3), Servalan (4/1), Could Be King (7/1), Bruce Wayne (14/1), Fantasy (16/1), Mia Mento (16/1), Jungle Inthebungle (25/1), Limit Long (33/1)

15:25 Curragh - 1 September 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

TEN SOVEREIGNS absolutely annihilated his 24 rivals here in a competitive looking maiden last week and has since been talked up as a potential Group One horse and he is indeed entered for the Middle Park and Dewhurst among others. It will be very disappointing if he doesn't win this and given how his trainer's two-year-olds progress hopes are high that we could be treated to something out of the ordinary here. Servalan has the best form in the book based on her Listed win and close sixth in the Queen Mary and she is the threat. Could Be King ran well at Group Two level latest and appeals as best of the rest.
  1. Ten Sovereigns
  2. Servalan
  3. Could Be King
