Improved from debut to win at Haydock last time out. Seemingly didn't handle the track at Goodwood last time in Group 2 company and while he has to concede weight to his rivals, he sets a solid standard on form here.
Ran with promise on his first couple of starts but found Group 2 company too tough at the Goodwood Festival and ran below par when dropped in class at Newmarket last time. Needs more here.
Well beaten here over 5f furlongs on debut and yard have had just two winners from 103 runners in the last year. Others make more appeal but the booking of Norton a positive at least.
Has shown very little in her three starts to date, failing to beat a rival home at Ripon last time out. Races over further than 5f for the first time here but has plenty to find on form.
Sea The Stars filly, cost €35,000 as yearling. Full-brother to three winners and half-brother to another (all over further). Dam a winner and half-sister to last year's Melbourne Cup winner. Tough race to make a debut in and likely to need further.
Dark Angel filly, cost 28,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a juvenile winner over this trip. Didn't beat a rival home at Haydock on debut and others make more appeal.
Forecasts
Drogon (4/5), Mordred (7/4), Navigate By Stars (6/1), Willett (33/1), Lady Kinsale (40/1), Orrell Angel (50/1)
Preference is for DROGON who sets a solid standard on form here and Tom Dascombe's colt can be forgiven a below par effort at Goodwood last time. The yard also run Navigate By Stars who is a well bred newcomer likely to be seen to best effect over further. Mordred is the preference for the forecast though having displayed plenty of promise in his first couple of runs.
