Looked to be heading in the right direction when 3L fourth (in first-time visor) at Windsor in April, when 3lb higher. However, took a backward step after a break last time (1m3½f. Still early days and not ruled out, but a bit to prove).

Arrives seeking a hat-trick after following up a ready Windsor success (1m3½f, good) with cheeky one at Chepstow (1m2f, good) last time, both under this jockey. Up another 3lb, but looks a leading contender.

7lb higher than when scoring at Ripon (1m4f, good) in June, and went close back over that C&D next time, when just 2lb lower. Well held both starts since. 5lb claim will help, so not written off, but more needed.

Found some improvement to run well at both Wetherby and Pontefract (both 1m, good to firm) in the summer. Well below that on her last two starts. Longer trip not certain to suit. Others make more appeal.

Came good at Wolverhampton last time (1m½f, AW), on his second handicap start. Should see this out, though would probably need to settle better than he did there. Up 4lb, so more needed, but unexposed and going the right way.

1-23, though that win did come over C&D in July on his final starts for Nigel Tinkler. Below that level from similar marks to today's in both subsequent runs for this trainer. Others preferred.

Well beaten in all four starts so far, including from 4lb higher on handicap debut last time. Can only watch.

Well beaten in all four starts and last of 10, beaten 47L on handicap debut last time. Drops back 4f in trip, but impossible to make a case for her on all known form.

Forecasts

Macho Mover (5/4), Whatwouldyouknow (9/4), Aliento (6/1), Airplane (7/1), Rock On Bertie (9/1), Rupert's Lass (14/1), Speedy Lost Sock (25/1), Kissesforeveryone (50/1)

17:05 Beverley - 1 September 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A moderate contest to wind things up for the day and MACHO MOVER looks to have been found a good opportunity to complete a hat-trick. He looked to have more in hand than he was letting on last time, so may be able to take this 3lb rise in his stride. Rupert's Lass has to be respected but does have a bit to prove after her latest effort, while Airplane and Whatwouldyouknow could both have a say.
  1. Macho Mover
  2. Airplane
  3. Rupert's Lass
