Failed to get an extra furlong last time and the stiff finish here has probably featured in her trainer's decision to target this race. Stable 3-6 at this venue and her close third to Firelight looks good enough to take this. Her dam loved the mud.
Typical Monsieur Bond type who responded well to cut in the ground to open her account over C&D. Up 6lb but given she would have been happier with a stronger pace then there is room for better still.
Did not have to improve on anything she had shown previously to open her account. Only has to run to a similar level again to be thereabouts and she handles some give underfoot.
Clear chance on the form of his second start but he has 9L to find with Prince Des Sables on recent C&D form. No obvious reason to believe he can turn that around.
Small colt lacking scope whose career got off to a fair start when conditions were soft. Less highly tried than on last two starts and ground has turned in his favour, but doubts he will see out this stiff 6f.
Chased home Prince Des Sables over C&D and that rival looks the one most likely to see out this trip in a more truly run race.
Makes her nursery debut in a race her trainer took last year with a similar type. Has gone off at triple-digit prices for her last four starts and it will be interesting to see what ability she has now racing on more equal terms.

C&D winner Prince Des Sables should again account for Northern Society and Zebzardee granted a stronger pace, but SUMMER BLOSSOM is just preferred. Archie Watson's juveniles have had an excellent campaign and this filly looked ready to deliver soon when third to the useful Firelight at Kempton. She failed to stay 7f last time and encounters soft ground for the first time. Given her dam relished the mud there is every chance she can deliver. Ripon winner Beryl the Petal looks best of the rest.
