Well held twice in 2016, but improved when second of 15 to Optionality in 5f maiden here two weeks ago. More needed in what looks a much deeper race here, however.

Footstepsinthesand half-brother to 2-y-o 6f winner Lightblack. Price dropped to €8,000 as a yearling, and wears a hood for this belated debut having been gelded.

By War Front out of Group 2 Rockfel Stakes winner Wading. Badly in need of experience on debut at Naas in October, and encouraging that powerful connections are persevering.

Out of a winning half-sister to same connections' top sprinter Slade Power. Well backed to improve on debut here in May, but may have found heavy ground against him, and likely to do better.

First foal of a French 1¼m-1m3f winner, and starting off at a trip which looks too sharp, so passed over.

Kyllachy colt who cost 260,000 gns as a yearling. Full-brother to two Group 2 winners, so no surprise to see him leave form of his debut over C&D in June well behind.

Improved from debut when 2L third of 6 to Declarationofpeace in minor event at Dundalk last time, and has since been gelded. Likely to do better, and not ruled out.

Homebred half-brother to a couple of useful winners, and yard in decent nick at present, do this newcomer by Fastnet Rock needs a second look.

Best effort to date when a staying-on third in a heavy-ground maiden at Naas in March; has failed to build on that since, although drop to 5f no good to her when a respectable third here after a break last time.

Sir Prancealot filly who cost just €2,000 as a yearling despite being a half-sister to winners, and made no impression on recent debut over 5f here earlier in the month.

Half-sister to a couple of modest winners out of a 5f winner. Likely to need experience on debut, so best to look elsewhere.

Ran very well in cheekpieces when second at Navan in October, but that remains a standout on her record, and has taken backward steps on last couple of runs.

Half-sister to eight winners including the useful Ajman King. Well beaten on debut at Dundalk last month, but fared a little better when mid-field over 1m here last time. Drops in trip now, and needs this for a mark.

First foal of a fairly useful sprint winner. Interesting jockey booking for small yard, so may be worth a precautionary market check.

Power half-sister to the useful Flying Fairies, she was sixth of eight on debut over C&D a year ago, and shaped well when third at Cork on her return. Will improve, although a bit further would suit ideally.

Made late progress on last week's debut at Roscommon, and may do better somwehere down the line, but this run comes quick enough.

TABAAHY has a bit to find on form, but he shaped with plenty of promise over 5f here in June, and looks open to plenty of improvement, which he will need to find to justify a 260,000 gns price-tag. Mona Bell and Ajmera are the pick on form, and can't be ignored, for all both have suggested another furlong wouldn't come amiss.
  1. Tabaahy
  2. Mona Bell
  3. Ajmera
