Has dropped down to a good mark and although yet to place in three starts at this track, she did shape well here over 6f. Hasn't been seeing out her races over further and could bounce back now down in trip.

Tumbling in the weights and has shaped as though he could be winning again soon following two fair efforts since wind surgery. Slowly away over an inadequate trip here last time and should be competitive over a furlong further.

Three-time C&D winner who has dropped to a very low mark, however can blow the start and remains a risky proposition on poor recent form.

19-race maiden who has struggled in two races following a break. Makes course debut but yet to place in eight starts on an AW surface and others preferred.

Maiden but remains lightly-raced and was better away when runner-up at Lingfield after previously having stall problems. Found the extra half furlong just too far and likely to be a leading contender back in trip.

Got an uncontested lead and the benefit of a top ride when winning over this trip at Kempton and remains 7lb higher. Best two runs since have come over shorter but was running on out wide last time. Well drawn to attack and can be involved.

Veteran who is on a long losing run and way below his last winning mark. Has won twice over C&D but does tend to reserve his best for Southwell and others preferred on current form.

Yet to win after 12 starts but best run for current stable (formerly Richard Hannon) came over this C&D. Got too far back over further here last time but was making good late progress and now down a further 2lb. Looks a leading hope.

Eight-race maiden who is edging down in the handicap. Failed to fire last time but best three runs have come over this C&D. Needs to find something extra but not without hope back at this track.

Just the sole win from 35 starts and well beaten in all three runs this year. Hard to make a case for from out of the handicap.

Only win came back in 2015 and has shown little in two starts since wind surgery. Beaten over further last time but yet to show he even needs this far and remains best watched from out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Navarra Princess (7/2), Jai Hanuman (9/2), Popsicle (5/1), Puchita (5/1), Cadeaux Boxer (7/1), Our Greta (8/1), Social Butterfly (8/1), Ace Master (14/1), Athassel (16/1), Passing Star (16/1), Rising Sunshine (33/1), Men United (66/1)

17:10 Wolverhampton - 23 August 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

PUCHITA made some really eye-catching late progress here last start and with a more aggressive ride could be very well handicapped over a distance that is probably her best. Our Greta could come into the reckoning down in distance while in contrast Passing Star looks a leading danger going back up a furlong. Popsicle can be unruly in the stalls but was much better last time and should be breaking her maiden tag soon if able to build on that.
  1. Puchita
  2. Popsicle
  3. Passing Star
