Two from two so far, still looked to be learning when winning at Ripon last time out but was nicely on top at the finish. Opening mark doesn't look overly generous but has scope for improvement and has to be strongly considered.
Found the step up to 12f very much to his liking when scoring decisively at Ffos Las latest and still looked green in the process. Tricky track to handle but no reason not to build on that, and looks a big player.
Has shown ability on all three starts and his sixth at Newcastle last time could not be working out any better (four winners from the race). Opening mark looks more than workable and a decent showing could be on the cards.
Twice a winner already, including on latest start when grinding it out for a length victory. Up 4lb and in a better race here, however, and up against some likely improving types, needs to pull out even more.
Hadn't shown much until coming good at Nottingham last time out, showing a willing attitude to come out on top by a neck. Up in grade, trip and 8lb rise for that looks plenty, so has more to do today.

NATURAL HISTORY looks on a fair mark for his first handicap and the form of his Newcastle sixth looks a lot better than it did at the time, with plenty of winners coming from the race. He might try and make all here. Al Kherb is looking for the hat-trick and is clearly improving, but might need a bit more to score here. It may be that Our Power proves to be the biggest danger as he still looks to have much to offer and will find this a suitable test.
