Gave up a bit quickly at Nottingham last time when well fancied, although there were possible excuses but she now gets a hood to help her settle. Chances if she settles better but a little to prove at present.

Highly tried on all three starts so far but goes into a moderate handicap on a low mark here, and she did hint at better to come when a staying-on eighth at Chelmsford last time. Chances if taking a step forward here.

Just the one win in 21 starts, but did run well over C&D in June (quick ground) and performed to a similar level in a Leicester seller last time out. Obvious chance but that win record is offputting.

Best run to date came at Lingfield over 7f in June but three starts since then have seen her in a lesser light. Early days yet, but even with this step back up in trip likely to suit, plenty to prove now.

Starting to get the hang of things and was far from disgraced in a similar handicap over C&D last time out. Could easily be better to come, especially if settling a little better, and she looks one of the more likely ones.

Clear-cut winner at Brighton two starts ago and might have found the ground against her here last time out, although she did stay on late. This ground should suit better and if building on the Brighton win, looks a contender.

Well beaten all five starts so far and sent off big prices as well. No better for cheekpieces last time either, and hard to find many positives at present.

Not a lot to show from her four starts so far but worth a second look simply because the yard get plenty of winners here (25% strike rate) and this drop back in trip will suit. Not totally discounted.

Little form in her ten starts so far, and mark already falling as a result. Others come into this in better form and with stronger claims.

Last two runs have come over C&D and she was very well backed to win here last week, finding just one too good after travelling well throughout. Wouldn't need much more than a repeat to get involved, and should go close.

Forecasts

Bond Angel (5/4), Zapateado (13/2), Hilight (8/1), Shoyd (8/1), Nyala (9/1), Imperial Act (11/1), Yaa Mous (12/1), Silvington (16/1), Liberisque (28/1), Dracarys (33/1)

13:45 Chepstow - 23 August 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A few can be given a chance in an open-looking event. BOND ANGEL was well backed here last week and looked like landing the gamble for much of the contest, and only going down a neck. She can go one better here. Imperial Act could be the danger if she settles a bit better today as she clearly has some ability and acts on the track. Zapateado doesn't win enough to be confident about her chance but she can hit the frame. Watch the market for support for either Liberisque or Yaa Mous.
