Not disgraced in Listed company at Down Royal last time, French import was an AW winner at Dundalk on debut for this yard in May and, despite the drop in distance, looks the one to beat in this field.

Didn't run badly over 2m+ at Galway recently, comes right down in trip here but has a lot of work to do against some of these on ratings.

Well-bred colt, made winning start at the Curragh last month over 1m4f, despite signs of inexperience. Should improve for that experience and have more to offer.

17:50 Killarney - 22 August 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

FALCON EIGHT is a nicely-bred and well-related colt that could have a decent future for Dermot Weld. He brushed aside clear signs of inexperience on debut to win at the Curragh, rather comfortably in the end, and can improve to maintain his winning ways now. The danger is Light Pillar, who ran well in Listed company last time and has fair designs on this, though perhaps might prefer further emphasis on stamina. Legal Spin, a maiden winner here last time, also enters the equation with the champion jockey on board.
