Was in great form last year when winning four on the bounce. Handicapper has seemed in control so far this year but has still been running with real credit. Nudged up 2lb for being beat a long way at Goodwood last time by a handicap blot.
Not seen since running down the field at Newcastle (1m4½f, AW) back in March. Returns from a break off the same mark as his last win but may well need this on return. Has won over C&D.
C&D winner who is back down to his last winning mark. Last two efforts have been poor however and impossible to fancy on that evidence until showing a bit more.
Been in terrific form this summer having won three on the bounce. Failed on the bid for a four-timer at Wolverhampton last time behind Gravity Wave and has been dropped 1lb as a result. Work to do to get back to winning ways.
Smart performer on his day but hasn't put his best foot forward for a while now. Mark has dropped as a result so it wouldn't be a surprise were he to take advantage at some point.
Been a story of steady improvement and relished the step up in trip when getting his head in front at Wolverhampton last time. Only 2lbs higher here and will be a leading contender once again.
Southwell specialist who struggles to match his Fibresand form elsewhere. Still 4lb above his last winning mark and readily opposed until he returns to the Fibresand.
Imphal ran well in a decent contest at Goodwood last time and is very much respected here, he should go well. Gravity Wave won well at Wolverhampton last time and having only been raised 2lbs, has sound claims to run well again. A chance is taken that GAVLAR can reproduce some of his old spark, if doing so he would be much too good for this field.
