Plenty of promise on 7f debut at Newmarket and may have found 6f too sharp when an unplaced favourite at Goodwood. Stamina in pedigree so this greater test should suit much better.
Mizzen Mast half-brother to five winners including the useful Abseil. Nice pedigree, represents an in-form trainer and is well worth a market check on debut.
Cost 120,000 gns as a yearling and is a Sea The Stars half-brother to useful winners Dress Rehearsal, Gold Sovereign and Fairy of The Night. Needed the experience when third of seven on debut at Sandown and should be much wiser this time.
Nathaniel colt who cost 70,000 gns as a yearling and is from the family of the talented Elwazir. Plenty of appeal on breeding and is one to note in the betting on his racecourse bow.
Mastercraftsman colt who fetched €230,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to six winners, several of them useful. Another who needs close inspection as he begins his racing career.
Forecasts
Al Mureib (5/6), Bo Samraan (2/1), Artois (10/1), Takumi (14/1), Dashing Willoughby (25/1), Bug Boy (100/1)
A fascinating contest with some juveniles who have already produced solid form taking on some nicely-bred debutants. Artois, Dashing Willoughby and Takumi fall into the latter category and are much respected, but Al Mureib and BO SAMRAAN boast strong condentials on what they have achieved and the latter may just hold sway after his promising Sandown debut.
