Capable on his day, but has a poor strike rate of 1-33. Dropping down the weights, however, and latest York effort was decent. Cheekpieces are fitted for the first time and 7f in this ground may stretch his stamina.
Two wins in her last four starts, but was well held at Hamilton last time. Underfoot conditions should not be an issue and she has strong claims if returning to form. Has never won over this far, however.
Last four races have been at Ayr and the most recent of them saw him finish a respectable second of seven over this trip. Down 2lb and proven stamina is a plus.
Dropped to 5f when fourth of 11 at Beverley last time. This longer trip should see him in a better light and cut in the ground is fine for this C&D winner.
Good effort to finish a close second off this mark at Catterick last time. Seems to stay this trip, but has never won over it which is a slight concern.
On a lengthy losing sequence and recent efforts have not been encouraging. Acts with cut in the ground, however, and is 15lb lower than when last successful.
Last two wins have been registered on the AW and she has been off the track since last September. Has questions to answer, but is worth a check in the betting.
Not disgraced in three starts this season, but has not done enough to suggest victory is imminent. Trip and ground should suit, however, so he is not ruled out.
Forecasts
Zebulon (7/2), Nuns Walk (4/1), Toofi (11/2), Strong Steps (11/2), Start Time (13/2), Size Matters (15/2), Khelman (12/1), Beadlam (22/1)
With stamina worries over Toofi and Nuns Walk, the two to concentrate on may be Strong Steps and START TIME. The latter is on a fair mark and this return to 7f on an easy surface ought to suit. Zebulon and Size Matters enter calculations, while Khelman is lurking on a dangerous mark if able to find his form.
