A tough opener from a punting perspective, given that there are several top stable represented and also several newcomers. Massam and Pesto look the best of those to have raced so far, the latter being arguably the more eyecatching last time. However, both are potentially vulnerable to that new blood and there is sufficient on paper to suggest that NOBLE ANCESTRY could be the one to side with. His pedigree reads well in context, while he represents a stable in form. Madkhal clearly needs respecting, as do both Red Armada and Edgewood. The market should prove informative.
