Best effort in five bumper starts came when second over an extended 2m at Punchestown (good) last time out. Vulnerable to less exposed rivals.
Showed very little promise in three point-to-point starts and on maiden hurdle debut last month, fourth of six in Downpatrick bumper since.
Well held in two bumper starts already, including when ninth of 12 at Cork on good to firm going last time. Hood is tried now.

Beaten 15L when third of nine in bumper at Ballinrobe (2m1½f, good) on debut, represents top trainer and should have something more to offer.

Soldier of Fortune gelding. Dam, ran twice over hurdles, also 1m2f winner on the Flat in France. Fell in novice hurdle at Gowran (2m, heavy) 10 months ago and off since, market will show more.

Making significant improvement in bumpers until a heavy defeat at Punchestown in June. Market likely to be the best guide here but should be capable of having a say.

Henrythenavigator gelding. Half-brother to useful/ungenuine 1m2f/1m3f winner Nibbling. Booking of Jamie Codd on debut is a positive.
8

Half-brother to useful types All Together and Du Soleil. Will possibly come on for tricky and competitive debut here.

Kings Theatre mare who cost €18,000 as a three-year-old. Dam a French 2m2f Listed hurdle winner. Finished seventh of nine in bumper at Roscommon (2m, good) on debut. Tongue tie added, more needed.
Presenting half-sister to 4 winners, including smart hurdler/top-class chaser Bellshill. Second in sole point-to-point start. Represents powerhouse connections, big claims.

Azamour filly is a half-sister to 7f-1m3f winner Oak Bluffs. Second Gordon Elliott-trained runner here, makes debut and needs monitoring.

Presenting filly finished midfield on debut at Cork last month over timber. May need more time now tackling a bumper.

20:25 Kilbeggan - 11 August 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

PRESENTING LEAH found just one too strong in her sole point-to-point outing in May and is closely related to the excellent Bellshill, amongst other winners. She's entitled to strong claims on her first foray under rules and may take some holding. Another newcomer, Miss Aloud, also has plenty going for her on pedigree and has to be respected. The newcomers are the ones to watch seemingly and Jamie Codd's presence on Baratheon will do only good. Of those that have run Batcio and Rian Thomas can do better.
