Races over his optimum trip and would ideally want good or slower ground to have his best chance, although does handle it fast. Yet to win a pattern race, but was second in the Group 2 York Stakes last time and has each-way claims.
Dual Listed winner who is without success since 2016 and is best at around 1m. Not ground dependent and made the frame in a Windsor Listed event when last seen in June (also placed in Group 3 this season). Each-way player.
Goes well here, with two C&D handicaps to his name. Sluiced up at Newbury (1m4f) two starts ago, but found out in a class 2 handicap here latest. Drops in trip, but up in grade and has it to prove at this level.
All three wins have been at this sort of trip (on good/good to firm), including decent handicaps at Newmarket and Goodwood on his last two starts. Deserves this step up and it would be no surprise to see him go close.
Progressive colt who has won his last two over this trip at Sandown (novice) and Ascot (handicap). Handicapper put him up 9lb for the latter, meaning that he steps up again. Very solid claims at these weights.
Won an Ayr novice event at 1-7 two starts ago (1m2f, good to firm) and was third in this grade at Newbury last time. Still going the right way and should be thereabouts again.
Scored over 1m (good to soft) at Thirsk in April in a novice race. Not disgraced when 5L third in the Group 3 Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot and just got done on the line by Communique last time. Claims.
An interesting race where it could pay to concentrate on the less exposed three-year-olds in the field and ZAAKI gets the vote to turns the tables on Communique and win this time. Elwazir looks likely to be closely involved, with Fajjaj not ruled out.
