Half sister to the yard's very useful Unforgettable Filly, and she showed plenty on debut when sent off an unfancied 40-1 shot at Haydock, finishing second. Never looked like landing the short odds at Thirsk last time but this may be more suitable.
First foal, dam was a 6f AW winner, which gives hope she will find this surface suitable for her debut. Yard have a 17% strike rate with their 2yos here and any market support would make her interesting.
Cheap purchase and she'll want much more of a trip on pedigree than this 7f that she gets tonight, and the hood sounds another warning bell. Best watched.
Bred to go okay on the AW surfaces (dam was a 6f winner on sand) but not much to be taken from her debut at Newmarket where she was very green. Blinkers tried now and she can only be watched after that moderate debut.
Third foal, and dam Flashbang was a 6f winner at Kempton in her time (for this yard) so there's some positives to be taken on her pedigree, but yard not really known for first time out 2yo winners. Nevetheless, of some interest.
First foal, dam was a French Listed-placed 1m2f winner and other relatives suggest she'll want middle distances in time. Yard have a 20% strike rate with their 2yo s here, so she has to be taken seriously on debut here.
Not disgraced in a couple of starts but yard do tend to let theirs find their feet as they go, so she'll be of more interest in late season nurseries down the line.
€160,000 purchase as a yearling, half sister to 1m AW winner Cool Team and she seems to be slowly progressing in three starts, having finished a staying-on third over 6f here last time. Chances over this trip if taking another step forward.
Forecasts
Deira Surprise (15/8), Summer Blossom (15/8), Sand Share (7/2), Gleeful (6/1), Nguni (16/1), Mandy The One (33/1), Sukalia (40/1), Indian Sea (66/1)
Deira Surprise could bounce back after a lacklustre effort at Thirsk last time out but preference is for newcomer SAND SHARE, as Ralph Beckett can ready them first time out (6-44 past 12 months) and she makes plenty of appeal of her pedigree, Gleeful is another that comes from a yard that can have them ready for their debuts, and she too makes some appeal. Summer Blossom is getting the hang of things and could hit the frame.
