Yet to win a race and despite finishing third last time out looked a hard ride (needed plenty of driving along). Cheekpieces now added for the first-time to help him out along with an excellent young apprentice to do the steering; respected.

Boasts a record of 1-25 and comes from a stable which is rather quiet at the moment although he did run with credit last time out without suggesting her was a winner in waiting. Steps back up in trip now; should run well enough but no major threat.

Visor used last time is now removed after he travelled well throughout his race last time but failed to get the job done (looked reticent to go past the leaders). Should be able to win a race off this sort of mark but finishing effort is a worry.

Makes his debut for a local trainer having shown very little for his former handler (John Best) in handicaps. Could be the sort to make progress with this yard but hard to recommend on what he's shown so far.

Losing run now stretches back to 2015 a run of some 34 races and his 7th in a Dundalk claimer last time out was another below form run. Now makes her debut for a new yard but hard to approach her chance with confidence.

Dual C&D winner but like a few in this field she has a long losing run to cope with and did very little last time to suggest that she would be ending that losing spell soon. Has slipped to a potentially interesting mark but caution still advised.

A CV that contains 31 Flat runs with no wins is hardly one to inspire even in this company. Last of six at Windsor recently it's hard to fashion a case for him here.

One of three runners in the race for a local trainer who should always be respected here she's potentially the most interesting on her handicap debut. She's finished well held so but steps up in trip here and any support is worth noting.

Still looks to be learning his trade but has less black marks against him than most in this field and showed some promise when finishing 3rd here last time. Appeared suited by the strong pace on that occasion and may show more over this longer trip.

Shown glimmers of promise/ability on her last three runs in handicaps (at her best when forcing the pace with headgear on). Those three runs all came over shorter and she now steps back up in trip but needs more to get involved here.

Trainer had a winner at Newbury yesterday but another one here would be a surprise with this one still attempting to find her first win. Can be excused a poor run last time (not ideally placed) but far from being a solid proposition.

Quite a few of these make little appeal although it will be interesting to see which one of the Gary Moore trio is favoured by the market with Buthelezi potentially very well treated down in trip on his second run for the yard and Sky Bandit making her handicap debut two potential market movers. Allofmelovesallofu deserves to win a race and with Jason Watson doing the steering will be popular and Vanderbilt has shown the ability to win a race without quite having the finishing heart to go with it. TOWNIE MAC hasn’t as yet shown that he’s the finished article but this longer trip will help on that score and he give the nod in a tricky finale.
  1. Townie Mac
  2. Vanderbilt
  3. Sky Bandit
