Son of Helmet struggled to stay on terms when fifth of eight on debut at Lingfield over 6f. Dam side of pedigree has plenty of stamina so should be suited by this longer trip and a better showing is likely.

€30,000 yearling by Born To Sea is half-brother to three winners from 7f to 1m3f. Trainer runs three here so it will be interesting to see how the market shapes up for this newcomer in respect to two stablemates with race form.

Seventh of 10 on debut at Lingfield last month and beaten some 20L. Well behind Chicago Guy in that inauspicious debut and best watched at present.

Newcomer by Passing Glance out of a dam who won over 1m at two. Leading trainer not as prolific with two-year-olds so best watched unless market says otherwise.

Big prices and unplaced in all three starts to date. Not achieved enough to gain an official rating and that will likely be the goal so that he can go handicapping.

Ran well in all three starts so far with seconds at Haydock and most recently York and in between an unlucky fourth at Pontefract. Narrowly failed in a driving finish last time out but should learn from that and looks the one they all have to beat.

45,000gns son of Mayson is half-brother to four winners including a Group placed 7f two-year-old. Trainer just had eight two-year-old runners this term and no winners so best watched on debut.

10th of 12 at Kempton and 10th of 11 at Ascot the record so far. Likely to be a big price here and on all known form he is set to struggle again.

Ran well on debut when a staying on third here over C&D. Didn't necessarily build on that last time out when fourth of six over 7½f at Ffos Las but the odds-on favourite won easily there. Looks to have claims here and should go well.

There is little doubt that Hugo Palmer's HOT TEAM has achieved the most of those to have run so far and having gone close at York last time this looks a nice opportunity for him to get off the mark. Elegant Love shaped well on debut here and she looks capable of being involved. Of the newcomers Richard Hannon's Aspire Tower makes the most appeal.
