Continued her progress when chasing home a track specialist at Chelmsford three weeks ago. Visor retained and rider 5-16 for the yard.

Six-time winner here but ideally suited to softer ground than forecast and he was tailed off on his last start.

Yet to win in this grade but went desperately close at Chester when faring best of those ridden up with the pace. Up another couple of pounds but sure to give his all.

Mark has dropped substantially and he has gone well here previously. Seems ideally suited to give in the ground these days and he meets more reliable types than himself this evening.

Goes well here and 5lb below his last winning mark. Capable of striking with his yard having a good spell, but he needs to settle better than of late.

Looked a shade unlucky here in June and was compensated over an extra furlong next time. Stumbled leaving the stalls at Beverley and forced to race wider than ideal since, but it was still a run that leaves questions to be answered off this mark.

Proved consistent last year and only had to run to his mark to open his account at Redcar when conditions were soft. Will not be far away if fully wound up following a nine month absence.

19:50 Ayr - 7 August 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Explain and Strong Steps are nicely treated on their best form but there can be no guarantees they will replicate that. LOGI does not appeal as being that well-handicapped but he is completely reliable and in better shape than most. Ziarah looks the main threat given the improvement she has shown lately and she now needs to prove she can race to a similar standard back on turf.
