Point-to-point winner but a 13 race maiden under Rules. Ran well to finish runner-up in a 2m6f maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter (good) on his return to Rules racing last month and is one to note in this contest.
Finished a close third over an extended 2m7f at Uttoxeter (good) in May when returning from a lengthy absence. Well held subsequently however and looking to bounce back.
Placed on both starts over hurdles most recently over an extended 2m4f at Southwell (good) two months ago. Remains open to improvement on handicap debut following a break.
Winner of both starts since joining this yard and races off a mark 15lb higher than when winning by 8L at Uttoxeter (3m, good) last time out. One for the shortlist once more.
Returning from a break when winning a 3m Taunton (good) contest on handicap debut last November. Absent since finishing runner-up at Ascot (good-to-soft) the following month and remains open to improvement.
Four time winner over hurdles but pulled up in May when returning from a break and probably best watched on this occasion.

Ange Des Malberaux (13/8), Comely (3/1), Lough Salt (4/1), Doctor Thea (10/1), Lady Markby (14/1), Desert Retreat (14/1), Raid Stane (20/1), Grey Monk (25/1), Jesse Jude (33/1)
COMELY represents a leading yard and with improvement likely she can make a winning return from a break by taking this staying handicap hurdle. Ange Des Malberaux can continue his good run of form by taking second place ahead of Desert Retreat who is making his return to handicaps.
