Looks at his best over this sort of trip/surface although he remains a maiden despite some likeable performances (ran into an improver last time he was in this scenario). Back from a break on the AW last time (not at his best); chance on old form.

Back to winning ways last time with a career-best performance to further highlight a good spell that she is going through along with her yard. Up another 4lb here she will need to improve again to overcome this mark but hard to ignore.

Worked his way back to form with this yard and confirmed the promise of his first two runs for this stable when taking a 6f Chester handicap. Ran creditably trying to follow up that win over further at the same track behind an all-the-way winner.

C&D winner who hasn't been at her best this year and having looked to be crying out for 7f she didn't actually prove for it. Disappointed last time never really producing a threat and easier to construct more persuasive cases for others.

Breeding would not suggest that sprinting would be his game but he took off here over 5f last time with a visor on for the second time. Has to take a step up in grade now as he bids to build on that win off a 10lb higher mark.

C&D winner to wrap up a fine 2016 season winning five times (most of those wins coming in soft conditions) with just the one win coming last year (form tailed off). Only beat one home last time on return/stable debut; given a chance by handicapper.

Forecasts

Nuns Walk (7/4), Gabrial The Devil (3/1), Zig Zag Zyggy (4/1), Letmestopyouthere (4/1), Queen Penn (6/1), Kyllachy Dragon (13/2), Rolladice (12/1), Gilmer (20/1), Souls In The Wind (33/1)

18:50 Hamilton - 4 August 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Hard to fault the consistency of Nuns Walk and although she will have to overcome another rise in the weights she’s hard to leave out of the overall equation here. Kyllachy Dragon will have to get himself back on track having looked capable at this level earlier in the season with Letmestopyouthere also looking to have work to do if he heads North after running at Thirsk on Friday afternoon. Gabrial The Devil faded away over 7f last time so this 6f is a more suitable distance but the ZIG ZAG ZYGGY still looks unexposed over sprint trips and he’s taken to follow up his victory over 5f here last time when he forged clear in a manner to suggest this 6f will be no problem.
  1. Zig Zag Zyggy
  2. Gabrial The Devil
  3. Nuns Walk
