Blinkers now applied in an effort to spark him into life after he was below form in a first-time tongue-tie last time. This will be his third try in a handicap and it's possible the assessor needs to drop him a few pounds more yet.

Back from a long break last time he shaped as if he would be better for the run and a switch to handicaps which he gets here. His bumper form entitles him to respect and given that he showed potential last time he's one to watch here.

Still a maiden over hurdles but capable of some fair form and has certainly been given a chance by the handicapper. Finished off his race a little better last time when runner-up over C&D and just up 3lb and that makes him a player now.

Hard to say that she looked suited by the switch to handicaps when showing what a hard ride she was at Aintree in May. Has questions to answer based on that performance and best watched for now.

Fair form in bumpers with her qualifying runs all showing promise although she hasn't managed to build on those runs switched to handicaps. Only had a couple of attempts in this sphere though and can't be written off too quickly; cheekpieces now trie

Well held in bumpers and his hurdling form has shown very little progression so far. Jumped poorly last time and his opening mark in handicaps sets him a stiff test.

AW winner on the Flat who stays 2m and has always looked the type to do better over hurdles when switched to handicaps. All his hurdles runs have come over 2m so far and he'll appreciate this trip far more.

Fell two out in a C&D maiden in May when running well after a 6-month break and has shown that she can win handicaps off this mark previously. Ran with credit last time in novice company and in with a chance of breaking her maiden here.

Form has a really uneven look about it and he returns to hurdles having had a couple of outings over fences (failed to progress from debut in that sphere). May well be a little better than his form figures suggest; note a market move.

Yet to win a race of any sort although he was quite useful on the Flat although a slightly quirky individual. Hasn't really shown much over hurdles so far and even less on the Flat of late and has plenty to prove now.

Blinkers (first-time) now tried as the accompaniment to the tongue-tie and this dual AW winner has yet to show his true worth over hurdles. Did show some promise (travelled well) on his handicap debut; chance if repeating that run.

Returns from a long absence in good hands but it would be some training performance to have him ready first-time up here. Mark is reduced from the last time he was seen but still looks a little high.

Won off a mark of 70 on the Flat when with Mark Johnston so in theory is well handicapped here but doesn't look to have taken to hurdles yet. Her last run did show some progress though and there may be more to come.

19:50 Worcester - 31 July 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An open event with quite a few that have flirted with success without converting their chances with one of those being THEYDON PARK who only found one too good over C&D last month and raised just 3lb for that effort is given the nod here. Sensible Friend has the look of one that there is more to come from in this sphere and he’s one to note in the market along with Phoebus Lescribaa. Oksana hasn’t as yet built on the promise she showed prior to moving into handicaps but she’s still worth keeping an eye on with cheekpieces now added. Leoro and Macksville are two others that can be given a chance in an open event.
