150/1
Unraced first foal out of a maiden 5f-7f dam (Old Peg); highly unlikely to prove competitive on debut in concession of weight to each and every one of her younger rivals.
2

Horse silk
66/1
Dream Ahead filly who is yet to finish in front of a single rival in three starts to date (5f-6f), including at odds of 33/1 on turf debut at this track in May.

3/1
Has shown all of her best form on turf; beating all bar the odds-on favourite on her return from a break in a Bath fillies' handicap last week (5.5f, firm); also declared to race at Bath on Wednesday (4.30pm).

2/5
$320,000 yearling and a half-sister to five winners including Requinto (5f Group 2); green on debut at Kempton in October 2017, but much more on her game from the outset when leading (weakened) on turf debut at Windsor (6f); sets the benchmark.

10/1
Tough to ascertain her optimum trip and remains a maiden after seven starts (5f-7f); her best effort was probably when finishing third over C&D in June (beaten 3¼L), but she has hardly taken positive steps since; opposed.

Petite Fleur20

25/1
Sister to the 6f winner Black Isle Boy, and a half-sister to a number of winners including Dickies Lad (6f); should fare better for the experience gained on debut at Chelmsford (7f), but equally didn't appear to be a winner in waiting.

16:10 Yarmouth - 26 July 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

L'EXPLORA has obviously required plenty of time in order to develop and mature, and whilst it's highly unlikely that she'll ever live up to her $320,000 yearling price tag, this race represents a golden opportunity to get a valuable first win under her belt. She showed plenty of pace when runner-up at Windsor (6f) earlier this month, so with the ground continuing to ride on the quick side, her jockey Ed Greatrex is expected to seek to try and make all against a fairly moderate looking set of rivals.
  1. L'Explora
  2. Global Rose
  3. Midnight Guest
