In cracking form and rattled off the hat-trick at Catterick on Wednesday, getting on top late in the day (on a track that may not have suited). Double penalty to carry in a higher grade here, so new questions to answer, but clearly in good heart.
Been in good form for much of the spring/summer and these quick conditions clearly suit him well, but possible the handicapper has caught up with him now as he was beaten almost 3l over C&D last time. Plenty on here.
Possibly found himself a bit out of his depth at Nottingham last time and might be better judged on his close second at Ripon the time before. However, conditions very different here and might have to wait for the rain to come.
Yet to win on turf, which is a concern, but not disgraced on first start for new yard at Chester last time (at a big price) and may do better again. Keep an eye on the market for a clue, as support could be significant.
Useful sprinter at best but looks on the downgrade now and hopes are rather pinned on a change of headgear perking him up a bit. Looks unlikely, and others have more pressing claims.
In terrific form and handicapper takes drastic action with a 10lb rise after an easy win at Lingfield where he had the race shot to bits very early on. Up in grade and the weights then, which makes life harder, but improving quickly now.
Found a weak race to win at Wetherby in June and hasn't run badly in two starts since then, but comes up against some well handicapped and in-form rivals here and will find this a bit tougher. Others preferred, despite conditions being ideal.
Yet to win in 20 starts on turf and is an infrequent winner anyway, in no great form at present either and this simply looks to be asking too much of him.

Alsvinder and Glamorous Rocket are the two in-form horse coming into this but both have more weight on their backs in a harder race, and could just be vulnerable. A chance is taken on SIGNORE PICCOLO who should be approaching full fitness now and will appreciate the likely good pace set by Glamorous Rocket. Expect him to come late on the scene. Money for Dazacam needs to be seriously noted.
