Former course winner, entitled to have needed the run when below form sixth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Tipperary (2m4f, good) in May, watch betting here.
Heavy ground maiden hurdle winner at Fairyhouse in January, struggled off this sort of handicap mark twice on soft going but improved effort this month at Bellewstown (2m½f, good to firm) and may build on that.
Back-to-back winner over timber in April, latest in a handicap at Punchestown. Back near that form when second of eight in novice hurdle at Bellewstown (2m1f, good to firm) 13 days ago.
Somewhat fortunate winner of Limerick maiden hurdle (2m, heavy) in March, just fair efforts in three starts since, cannot be ruled out but perhaps needs some relief from the assessor.
Finished fourth off a mark of 118 in a handicap chase at Sligo (heavy) last September but failed to complete in two subsequent outings and again poor on reappearance at Kilbeggan over fences. Tongue tie on first time, reverts to hurdles.
Produced career-best when winning 16-runner novice hurdle at Limerick (2m, good to firm) 11 days ago in first-time cheekpieces (retained). Should be able to go well again.
Came good at Roscommon last month, sticking on well for pressure to get up close home. Run another sound race in third at Bellewstown 13 days ago, should get involved here.
Forecasts
Line Out (11/4), Gold Seal (11/4), Storm Rising (9/2), The Granson (6/1), Park Paddocks (7/1), Play The Game (8/1), Voices Of Spring (16/1)
The cheekpieces appeared to garner some improvement from STORM RISING as he scored in novice company at Limerick this month. He'd been in consistent form previously and may be up to doubling his tally now. The consistent Gold Seal merited a win at Roscommon last time and should lay down his challenge while both Park Paddocks and Play The Game are also worth noting.
