Can be a bit in-and-out and followed career best effort at Goodwood with a weak effort at York next time. Takes a drop down to class 6 company here and goes back in trip which make him of obvious interest.
Was racing from a 10lb higher mark than when winning last year on return at Newbury last month and ran a cracker to finish third. That was his first start since a wind operation and with the addition of a tongue-tie will be a leading player here.
Ran best race so far when second behind a thriving rival at Brighton (7f, good to firm) last time. This step up in trip is likely to suit on that evidence and there is still improvement to come.
Bumped into the same progressive rival the last twice. Back down in grade here and still has some improvement to come with talented young rider taking off a valuable 5lbs.
Tends to prefer a bit of give in the ground and that showed when winning at Lingfield two starts back. Struggled under these conditions at Yarmouth next time and needs to do more for win purposes here.
Did not get the clearest of runs when finishing in mid-division on her handicap debut at Lingfield. Goes up in trip off 2lb lower so it will be interesting to see if the market speaks in her favour.
Forecasts
Flere Imsaho (5/2), Data Protection (11/4), The Night King (7/2), Lady Safeara (11/2), Banksy's Art (7/1), Sukhovey (12/1)
LADY SAFEARA shaped much better than the form suggests on handicap debut and makes plenty of appeal now going up in trip off a 2lb lower mark. Sukhovey is another that shapes like this trip should suit and is feared. Data Protection still has plenty of potential at this level and completes the short-list in the first-time tongue-tie
