10/1
Camacho gelding, cost €12,000 as a foal and 28,000 gns as a yearling. Improved on debut effort to finish third of five at Epsom two weeks ago. Tongue-tie added now and needs more.

7/4
Showed improved form to chase home a ready winner at Musselburgh over this trip last time. Potential to do better still and is respected on third start.

Exousia
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: S Donohoe| T: H Spiller
33/1
Son of Epaulette who was a cheap purchase at just 3,000 gns. Dam was unraced and worth a market check as yard had a winning juvenile newcomer here not long ago. They also saddle Kompton McKenzie

100/1
Fast Company colt whose dam is half-sister to a Group 2 middle distance winner. Not shown much on his two starts so far and very much likely he will be more suited to nurseries on the back of this.

Compton Place colt thaty went unsold as a yearling for £19,000. Related to plenty of winners and interesting to see how he compares to his stablemate Exousia on debut.

9/1
Pedigree and debut run would suggest that the 5f he started over was short of his best. This trip should suit a little better and much better drawn today. Likely to be a longer term project but market check needed all the same.
Camacho colt that has a nice pedigree. Cost £35,000 as a yearling and is related to plenty of winners. Yard tend to do well with their youngsters here and he is of definite interest on debut.

Gregorian filly is a half-sister to several winners. Found the debut all a bit too much after a slow start at Chelmsford over this trip. Should know a bit more now but plenty of improvement needed all the same.

Jungle Juice26
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: F Norton| T: M R Channon| BF
5/2
Sent off a warm favourite for both of her starts to date. Picked off late doors over this trip at Wertherby last time having hit the front. Clearly has ability but maybe vulnerable to anything with talent in here.

Horse silk
150/1
50/1 for her debut at Chepstow (6f, good to firm) but was never on terms and beaten a long way. Should have learnt from the experience but up against it again here.

Horse silk
9/1
Has finished fourth on both her starts to date on turf. Switches to the AW for the first time today and has some improvement in her. Maybe handicaps will be the answer after this.

Horse silk
33/1
Fast Company filly that cost €27,000 as a yearling. Related to several winners and dam was a 6f AW winner. Yard is 0-2 with juveniles so far this year.

Forecasts

Barasti Dancer (7/4), Jungle Juice (5/2), Pegasus Bridge (15/2), Pot Luck (9/1), Mighty Midjet (9/1), Al Mortajaz (10/1), Shifting Gold (33/1), Exousia (33/1), Gregorian Girl (33/1), Kompton Mckenzie (66/1), Freedom And Wheat (100/1), Ocean Reach (150/1)

17:50 Wolverhampton - 18 July 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Jungle Juice and Barasti Dancer bring the two best pieces of form to the table and are both likely to be major contenders once more. Eve Johnson Houghton likes to bring her two-year-olds here and with an appealing pedigree, maybe PEGASUS BRIDGE can make a winning debut.
  1. Pegasus Bridge
  2. Barasti Dancer
  3. Jungle Juice
