Just 1-11 over fences so far and is rated 8lb higher than when achieving that success at Tipperary a year ago over 2m1f (good). Out of sorts recently on the Flat, others more likely.

Winner at Limerick (2m3½f, heavy) on second chase start before unseating next time at Punchestown. Too keen more recently at Wexford over this trip and couldn't sustain effort late on. Big player if she keeps the choke in.

Won a 14-runner beginners chase at Wexford in May when ridden to go clear on the run in, settled for second at the same track last month on handicap bow. Sound jumper and should go well again upped 3lb.

Signs of a return to form when second of 12 beaten ½L at Kilbeggan early last month and run well enough back there since (fifth). Could make the frame.

In and out this season, good effort at Tipperary and Wexford flanking a poor show at Ballinrobe last month. Capable of being involved on good day.

Poor form in all four starts under rules in France and after arriving in Ireland. Hasn't been sighted for 544 days, goes chasing for the first time and betting likely to be the best guide to what is anticipated of him here.

Has now gone 14 runs since last win in 2016. Decent effort in third at Limerick over similar trip in May was a better show. May build on that now.

Long-standing maiden (28 runs) has been poor in both starts since joining this yard, including over fences last month at Wexford and since at Limerick over timber. Down in trip and reverts to larger obstacles once more.

Still without a win in seven starts over the larger obstacles and was pulled up in handicap chase at Wexford (2m4f, good) last month having failed to jump fluently.

Poor form in his most recent chase starts and now races 4lb lower than original handicap mark. Plenty to prove but does represents loft connections and get new blinkers and a handy claim.

Forecasts

Fintara (10/3), Mindsmadeup (7/2), Glenwood For Ever (9/2), William Du Berlais (5/1), Lakemilan (11/2), Crocodile Dundee (13/2), Jack The Wire (10/1), Soul Kaliber (16/1), Rebelion Boy (16/1), Do No Complain (25/1), Knockraha Boss (33/1)

20:30 Killarney - 17 July 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Glenwood For Ever was in line for a win at Punchestown over a longer trip when last spotted until a late mishap cost him, he's clearly got claims from his current mark while Fintara was second on handicap chase bow last time and should go well for Barry Geraghty in familiar colours now. However, if Lakemilan can race with a bit less enthusiasm in the early stages she appeals as the sort to do better and the booking of Paul Townend should assist her in that regard.
  1. Lakemilan
  2. Glenwood For Ever
  3. Fintara
