Ran with credit over 1m4f last time out and a repeat effort back at this trip could well be good enough. Yard ticking along nicely and does particularly well at this venue.
Progressive last term winning final two starts including over course and distance in October. Second on seasonal return here two weeks ago and blinkers now applied to concentrate his mind. Looks a major player.
Cheekpieces tried for the first time having run with little spark on latest start at Newmarket. Has claims on previous second at Liciester so a bold show not ruled out.
Won four in a row during a golden spell last summer but has looked well and truly in the grip of the handicapper this campaign and has never looked like taking a hand in a finish. Hard to recommend on current evidence.
Two career successes has both come over a mile at Yarmouth, but ran well on first run this campaign when close fourth over a mile here last time. Better suited by this trip and has plenty going for him off 1lb lower mark.
Ran consistently second half of last season without managing to score but has looked badly out of touch in two starts so far this year and looks to face another stiff task on that evidence.
Forecasts
Jus Pires (1/1), Twenty Times (4/1), Know Your Limit (5/1), Blaze Of Hearts (8/1), Swilly Sunset (11/1), Zamperini (14/1)
A tight knit event, but BLAZE OF HEARTS should appreciate the return to this trip having stayed on well over a mile last time. Jus Pires is an obvious danger having gone close here last time and the headgear may sharpen him up, while the drop back in trip looks the right move for top weight Twenty Times. Know Your Limit is another capable of playing his part in this interesting contest.
