Dealt a poor hand in the draw stakes he comes here having made little impact on the AW earlier in the year. A course winner in the past he was poorly placed when finishing in midfield over C&D last time in first-time blinkers.

Put some below-par efforts behind him when bouncing back to near his best when making all at Carlisle last time over a slightly longer trip. Not sure to be in the same form off 4lb higher but well drawn to lead; might not have such as easy one.

Had run in some fairly competitive handicaps this year and the ease in grade here last time over a little further saw him return to winning form. The change of tactics (made all) also appeared to his liking but that won't be easy to repeat.

Has looked as though he's been ready to win for a while now and went close at Musselburgh recently from a reduced mark. Not disgraced last time at Leicester in a better grade and this will be more his level; well drawn to go close.

Usually seen to good effect around sharp tracks he looked a little unlucky at Musselburgh on his last start and wasn't seen to best effect. Well drawn here and just 2lb above his last winning market he's one to note in the market.

Remains in a good spell of form having won twice over sprint trips (6f) recently and held his form since then and proved himself over 7f last time. Found one just too good on that occasion but worth another try at this trip and hard to ignore.

Four-time winner when he was with the Hannon yard although only one of those wins came in a handicap (last win in a seller). Yet to win for this yard although he did turn in a good effort last time (suited by run of the race); others more appealing.

Won his first two starts for this yard but they were only claiming stakes on the AW (better on that surface) and he's only shown modest form since then in handicaps. Quite nicely drawn here but not sure he'll be able to take advantage.

Winner over this trip earlier in the year on the AW he's been operating below that sort of level of late and has run very poorly the last twice. The widest draw of the lot is hardly going to help either and best watched for now.

Lightly-raced and the only three-year-old in the field he has an opportunity here to build on his creditable comeback run at Haydock (had wind surgery prior to that run). Given a considerate ride he could better that run here despite the wide draw.

Needs no introduction around here having won here four times with three wins coming at this trip. Not operating at his best though at the moment even around his favourite track; slipped back below last winning mark.

Needless to say this has attracted a field that is hard to split but the overall vote goes to OUR CHARLIE BROWN who didn’t have the rub of the green last time and excels on sharp tracks like this. Tadaawol appeared to enjoy bowling along in front last time and the same tactics look sure to be used here although he may face some pace pressure this time around from the likes of Rene Mathis who may just find this step back into handicaps a little tougher. Twin Appeal has been knocking at the door of late and along with Logi makes this a tough event to be definitive about with luck in-running sure to play a part.
