Improved from his initial start when taking a minor event over 5f at Carlisle last time (played up before the start). Showed a more professional approach during the race though making all to win showing a battling attitude in the closing stages.

Off the mark on her third start not really having to show much improvement but making the most of her experience. No chance in the Albany at Royal Ascot last time and should be happier here back in calmer waters and well drawn.

Looks to be the lesser of the stable's two runners in this having looked in need of the outing/experience on his debut at York over 6f. Bred for much longer trips and will be of more interest when that time comes.

So Hi Storm28
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: C Lee(3)| T: K R Burke
16/1
Has quite a nice pedigree but only showed a modest level of form on her debut over 6f and didn't appear to be suited by the drop to 5f last time out. A return to 6f will suit better but looks one more for nurseries once he has a mark.

In the first four on all her starts so far without looking especially progressive although there was some minor promise stepped up to 6f last time. Experience helped her from a wide draw last time; she'll need to show the same again here (drawn 7).

Appears to be the first choice of this yard having started towards the head of the market on both her starts so far. Not seen to best effect on her return from a break last time and better judged on her debut effort which gives her a chance here.

Pass The Gin17
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: Jason Hart| T: A M Balding| OR:  68| BF
11/4
A little bit stop-start in three runs so far with her best performance coming last time at Newbury when the draw left her adrift from the main action. That run showed she was progressing and will appreciate this 6f and a little further in time.

Has offered very little in two starts so far at Redcar and Newcastle over 5f and the draw widest of all (drawn stall 8) hardly helps matters.

Forecasts

Pass The Gin (11/4), Jensue (7/2), Baby Steps (7/2), Immokalee (7/2), Dancing On A Dream (8/1), So Hi Storm (16/1), Gabrial The One (20/1), Pritty Livvy (100/1)

18:20 Chester - 13 July 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The penalised runners set a fair standard here with Baby Steps looking to build on his Carlisle win where he showed a professional attitude in the race if not before and Jensue who is well drawn back in calmer waters after being highly tried at Royal Ascot. However there are one or two improvers lurking with the well drawn IMMOKALEE the most interesting after she wasn’t seen to the best effect last time out but having shown promise on her debut run; she’s been well found in the market on both occasions suggesting she’s better than she’s shown so far. Pass The Gin is another filly who is improving steadily and the yard’s runners usually do well here with Dancing On A Dream not out of this.
  1. Immokalee
  2. Baby Steps
  3. Jensue
