Useful for Andrew Balding a couple of seasons ago, and whilst he's not the same standard these days he showed he was still capable when successful at Lingfield last time out. However, all turf wins have come with some cut, so this ground a concern.

Into the veteran stage now, useful at his very best, has never won over this trip although was staying on strongly over 7f here in June. Handles all ground and handicapper offering him a chance, so could get involved if it falls right for him.

Possibly a bit unlucky in the run at Chelmsford last Thursday when finding trouble at a key moment, and might have hit the frame with a clear run, but seems to prefer the sand to turf so a question whether he'll reproduce that here. Chances if so.

C&D winner here in April and latest effort can easily be forgiven as he didn't get the 10f trip. Looked progressive before that and gets a nice weight allowance as a 3yo, so every chance he can get back on the winning trail again.
