Slipped in the weights since his last win but has shown real signs of a revival of late at Beverley in a conditions event (winner won again since) and in a top-class Curragh handicap. Up 3lb here but one to be interested in off this sort of mark.
Dropped in grade to win in May at Redcar (5f) in a first-time hood getting a more controlled ride than usual off a 4lb lower mark (won with something in hand). Not in the same form next time over 6f at York back up in grade and needs to bounce back.
Has hit a very progressive streak all of a sudden winning at Hamilton and then taking another small field apart at Haydock including the in-form Eeh Bah Gum (reversing earlier form). Now under a 6lb penalty but his recent form looks very strong.
Trainer has won this race the last two years and he now relies on one who ran below form last time at Chester (dropped to 5f for the first time). Doesn't look short of pace and has dropped to a career-low mark but faces a couple of in-form types.
Back on the up of late scoring here over 6f and following up over 5f at Newcastle (the scene of her early-season hat-trick). Tends to operate best off a strong pace pouncing late and goes well for this rider (2-2); career-best needed off this mark.
Not the force of old and may find one or two of these two quick over 5f (rarely runs at this trip). Has run with credit of late but can look a difficult ride (tried in hood) and despite the falling mark looks as though 7f+ would suit better.
Hit a purple patch last year with the middle leg of his hat-trick gained over C&D and he's returned in good form this year. Back to his best last time at Ripon (5f, good) when scoring despite hampering rivals he now has to cope with a higher grade.

Three last time out winners and plus one who ran with a great deal of promise make this a cracking sprinting heat. MARNIE JAMES has really come to the boil of late and bids for a very quick hat-trick having demolished his opponents last time; the penalty may not stop him. He won’t have it all his own way though with Line Of Reason looking to play a part off a favourable mark having run well of late and Oriental Lilly going in search of her second hat-trick of the season here. Longroom is another in-form type but he needs to prove himself in this grade with Soldier’s Minute representing Keith Dalgleish (won this last two years) needing to prove himself at 5f.
